Can I bring my vehicle to Sport Durst for service even though I purchased my vehicle at another dealer?
Yes-you may bring your vehicle to Sport Durst for any service regardless of purchase location. All factory and extended warranties can be used here (please try to bring contract information). And remember, if you purchased your vehicle from Sport Durst your first oil change is complimentary.

What should I do if I need service?
You may make an appointment online 24 hours a day under the service tab. You may also call our service scheduling department at 1-877- 262-3223.

Do I have to make an appointment to have service done?
Although an appointment is recommended for all services at Sport Durst, we will make every effort to provide outstanding service to anyone, anytime. Appointments can easily be set right from our website by clicking on the schedule service tab.

Yes - we can accommodate any schedule with early bird service or after hours pick up. See your service advisor for details.

What type of warranty do you offer on your services?
All work done by Sport Durst is warranted for the period of 1 year or 12,000 miles from date of install. Some items, when replaced are even warranted for the life of your ownership-see your service consultant for details.

Do factory trained technicians really make a difference?
Sport Durst spends on average $2k a year per technician on training and certifications. They receive training directly from the manufacturer, Sport Durst Automotive, and off-site classroom. They use the latest equipment and diagnostics. There is no such thing as a manufacturer certified technician outside the dealership network.

Is a factory part really better than the after-market alternative?
Yes-factory parts are made specifically to fit your vehicle. They have been engineered to the strict tolerances your vehicle requires. They offer superior protection and a nationwide warranty directly from the OEM. They are your best vehicle protection without question. Labor charges are also covered should the part fail within the warranty time-frame for that part. Labor is normally not covered to replace failed after-market parts.

Will I pay a higher price to service my vehicle at Sport Durst than the independents?
No-Sport Durst shops the competition quarterly and publishes the results on a large display board in the lounge. All Sport Durst services provide excellent value, protection, with an outstanding warranty. From oil changes to tire replacements Sport Durst aims to give you the lowest possible price at the highest value possible.

How often should I be checking my tire pressures? What's the best pressure for Central North Carolina?
You should be checking your tire pressures every 1k miles or 1-month whichever comes first. We have found that vehicles perform best at the PSI that is stated on the placard inside the drivers door-jam.

Do you have a Body Shop?
Sport Durst does have a body shop on site. Sport Durst has partnered with most major insurance providers to service our customer base.

How often should I change my oil?
On most newer models, oil and filter should be changed every 6 months or 5k miles whichever comes first, consult your owners manual or see your service advisor for your vehicle's specific maintenance requirements.

Once you have selected your check-in time, what happens next?

First, you want to be here as close to your check-in time as you can.  Getting here early means you will have to wait, and getting here late could result in losing your place in line.  Once you do arrive, your Factory-Trained Service Advisor will be ready for you with all the information you provide.  During the first part of the check-in process your advisor will review this information to ensure accuracy, ensure understanding of your concerns, and to see if anything needs to be added to your servicing.

The second step in the check-in process is when you and your Factory-Trained Service Advisor will walk around your vehicle to collect numbers off your vehicle and do a quick visual inspection.

The third part of the check-in process is when it will be determined which department and which Factory-Trained Technician will be the one best suited to diagnose and repair your vehicle.  That decision will be based on what you and your Factory-Trained Service Advisor discussed and saw during the earlier part of the check-in process.  Once that is determined, we will then look at the schedule of that department and Factory-Trained Technician, and that will determine approximately when your vehicle will enter our state-of-the-art shop.
