How To Change The Mazda Key Fob Battery

A small flathead screwdriver

A new CR2025 or CR2032 battery (check your owner's manual for the correct type)

Use the small flathead screwdriver to carefully pry open the key fob. Look for a small notch on the side of the fob where you can insert the tool.

Once the fob is open, locate the battery. Gently lift it out using the screwdriver or your fingers.

Insert the New Battery:

Insert the new battery into the slot, ensuring the "+" side is facing up.

Snap the two halves of the key fob back together by pressing them firmly until they click into place.

Test the buttons to ensure the new battery is working correctly.

This process should take just a few minutes, and you'll be ready to use your Mazda key fob again.
