What's New For The 2025 Mazda CX-30?
There aren't too many changes to the 2025 model, as some significant improvements carry over from last year. New to the lineup is the Aero Gray Metallic exterior paint option. Additionally, the built-in navigation is improved, and the infotainment system is now capable of over-the-air updates..
Performance
Powering the CX-30 are two engine options. There's a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 191 horsepower. Then there's a turbocharged 2.5-liter engine that's optional on all but the Carbon Turbo, offering 250 horsepower.
In the EPA's estimation, models equipped with the non-turbo engine get about 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. With the turbocharged engine equipped, those EPA estimates change to 22 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.
Interior
From the outside, the Mazda CX-30 looks like a standard small SUV. However, inside, drivers will find a well-crafted interior with a prominent infotainment display. The top-spec Premium trim adds leather upholstery, a power-operated rear liftgate, and other premium items for a more luxurious feel. And the cargo capacity is accommodating, too, with six carry-on suitcases fitting behind the back seats. And with the seats folded, up to 16 bags can fit.
Technology
Along with a gorgeously crafted cabin, Mazda has ensured the CX-30 is well-equipped. Standard is an 8.8-inch monitor, with a larger 10.3-inch display offered in higher trims. Both screens use Mazda Connected Services, which allows owners to lock and unlock, remote start, and monitor their vehicles through the MyMazda app.
Additionally, there are features like two front USB inputs, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration. Buyers can also choose between an eight- or 12-speaker audio system and upgrade to heated front seats.
